I do understand that it's not pure flamenco (thanks to conversations I've had with serveral people on here) but it's still brilliant. I do think you can take puritanism too far, and for guitarists, that could have you spending millions on and taking dozens of instruments to a concert; just to be "authentic to? the repertoire". (Vihuela, Renaissance lute, Baroque lute, 18th century guitar, flamenco "peg head" guitar, Torres [if you can find one],and a modern concert classical guitar)

You're absolutely right, partner. Maybe it's not traditional, but that's not the point, is it? Pepe is a world class guitarist in classical guitar, and can hold his? own with his own brand of beautiful flamenco style of playing. Not so long ago, people didn't care for anything but hard core flamenco. Now we have the incomparable Gypsy Kings who play rumba flamenco, a music that plays right to your heart.
