Seen them in june '77 at the infamous Hollywood Sportatorium open up for BadCo on the Running with the pack tour. The Outlaws stole the show imo and to this day are one of my favorates. Looking back on that show 35 years later who would have thought they'd still be everything today they were then when so many great bands of that era arent even remembered. We who seen them live in the "good ole? days" dare I say it where truly blessed and can walk down memory lane. thanks for sharing this with us.

I don't know how it works in the US but in the UK the Outlaws are decent people, maybe not the young ones also known as the CycleTramps, who are giving the old Outlaws a bad name. I am from Joliet and drive pass their "head quarter" bar on Washington Street almost every day. These guys? are know here, but certainly not big. Their bar is a small shit hole with the word "Outlaws" painted on the side. There is never more than 2-5 motorcycles parked out front at a time. I don't think they are very big, kind of surprised they even got featured on this show.

I remember being 15, watching them open at Long Beach arena for Boston the year their first? album came out and was huge, and I knew about GGAHT, but that was about it. They came on- this was the original unit with Henry Paul- and they delivered an absolutely spellbinding, musically tight and crisp set that just blew Boston away. the intensity and skill of the performance was so real. I've been a lifelong fan since. Boston had a good light show, as I remember, with lots of smoke ....LOL!

Saw these guys with Blackfoot on New Years Eve '81 at the Bayfront Center in St.Pete. I couldn't have asked for a better show for my very first concert. Saw them every chance? I got in the clubs around Tampa after that.Ahhhh, the places a fake ID used to get me into. Those were rockin' days!
